Screen Printing at The Bubbler at Madison Public Library

Join me for this 3-3 ½ hour screen print workshop. This workshop is open for all ages over 6 years old. Children ages 6 and up should be accompanied by an adult for the entire workshop.

This workshop will go through the entire screen print process from drawing, to burning screens, to printing the design. Paper will be provided and participants are also welcome to bring their own shirts, bags, etc. to print. You are welcome to come with an image already created, but will also have time and help to create an original image during the workshop.

(This workshop will be happening again on Saturdays throughout the fall. We request that you limit yourself to 1 workshop to allow others the chance to attend. Registration for this event closes on the Friday before at 3pm)

The Bubbler program is supported by a grant from the Institute of Museum and Library Services.

Cultivating Creativity Pop-Up Dinner (THE APARTMENT PROJECT)

The Apartment Project (curated by Bethany Jurewicz) is partnering with Goose Island and Drink Tank (a recreational think tank) to host a Party with a Purpose. Each year, Goose Island Beer Company visits cities across the globe to celebrate community, creativity and innovation. On July 21st they will be in Madison and we’re excited to collaborate with them for a dining and beer experience that brings artists, musicians, locally-sourced food, and beer together for an immersive, educational, and creative experience.  Ideas generated over the course of this Drink Tank will be used to create a custom piece of art created by me that will be sold to raise funds for Fair Share CSA.

Maker Market Milwaukee

From their website:

You can find us the third Sunday of each month, May through September in the parking lot of Colectivo in Bay View, just off Lincoln and Howell Avenue.  These Sundays have come to support a rotating cast of talented artists, crafters, makers and designers from Milwaukee and beyond selling everything you can imagine two hands being able to create - from soy candles and small batch, hand-mixed beauty products to one of a kind clothing and jewelry.  We have been known to host artists with both original works and prints and illustrations, performance-based crafts where you can place an order for a love letter on the spot, we have artisans who create hand tooled leather accessories and cast ceramics, and we have creative people just starting out in their business as well.  We work hard to make sure each market is unique and features a different line up every Sunday that will leave you inspired and excited about what is being created by this community.
